See a roadmap that is close to what you need? Fork it and make it your own. Your version keeps the original structure but every node, note, and resource is yours to change. The original author gets a nod, and readers can compare versions side by side.
Progress follows you
Start on your laptop, pick up on your phone. Your completed nodes, notes, and bookmarks sync in the background, so you never lose your place. Offline changes merge cleanly when you reconnect.
A calmer feed
The home feed now groups updates by topic and roadmap instead of dumping everything in one long scroll. Mute a topic, and it stays muted across sessions.
Improvements
- Node previews. Hover any node in a roadmap to see a summary before you click.
- Faster search. Results appear as you type, with filters for topic, difficulty, and completion status.
- Keyboard shortcuts. Press ? to see the full list. Navigate nodes with J and K.
- Export to Markdown. Any roadmap exports as a clean Markdown file with checkboxes intact.

- Broken deep links. Opening a shared node link lands on the right spot, not the top of the roadmap.
- Stale progress bars. Completing a node on one device updates everywhere within seconds.
- Feed duplicates. The same update no longer appears twice in your feed.
- Dark mode contrast. Muted text is now readable in both themes.

Notes are no longer a solo affair. You can now write together, discuss in context, and keep the conversation attached to the exact node it belongs to.
Notes you write together
Open any node and start a shared note. Multiple people can edit at once, with changes highlighted as they happen. Notes support Markdown, code blocks, and embedded links to other roadmaps.
Discussions in context
Every node has a discussion thread. Ask a question, share a resource, or leave a tip for the next person. Threads stay collapsed until you need them, so they never get in the way of the roadmap itself.

- Mention support. Type @ to mention someone and they get a notification.
- Note templates. Start from a template for common patterns like "Key takeaways" or "Practice exercises".
- Resolved threads. Mark a discussion as resolved to keep the signal high.

- Cursor jumping. Typing in a shared note no longer moves your cursor to the end.

Your public profile lists the roadmaps you have completed, contributed to, or forked. Add a bio, link your projects, and let the roadmaps speak for themselves.
Reputation that means something
Earn reputation when people complete your roadmaps, fork your work, or mark your notes as helpful. Reputation unlocks the ability to review community submissions.
Badges for milestones
First roadmap completed. Ten forks. First contribution merged. Badges appear on your profile and in the community feed.

- Profile customization. Pick a banner color and choose which roadmaps to feature.
- Reputation breakdown. See exactly where your reputation came from.
- Shareable links. Your profile link is clean and works without an account.

Pick a template for web development, data science, design, or any of the community-submitted paths. Templates come with nodes, resources, and notes already filled in.
Import from a URL
Found a great learning list somewhere? Paste the URL and ForQ turns it into a roadmap. Links, descriptions, and structure are preserved.

The editor canvas is now distraction-free. Pan with spacebar, zoom with scroll, and focus on one branch at a time.
